Ma’moun Ali Al-nawafleh

Ma’moun Ali Alnawafleh is a writer and researcher from Petra, born in 1978. He specializes in archaeology and holds an honorary certificate in archaeoastronomy, recognized as a pioneer in this field. He serves as the president of the Pioneers Society for Astronomical Tourism in Jordan and is a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences.

He previously chaired the Archaeoastronomy Committee within the Jordanian Astronomical Society and is also a member of the Jordanian Tour Guides Association. Additionally, he was a board member of the teachers’ council at the Institute of Astronomy & Space Science – Al al-Bayt University. 

Alnawafleh has authored several books on the history of Jordan and the Nabataeans, published numerous research papers in local, regional, and international scientific conferences, and has delivered lectures at both Jordanian and international universities.
